While, through the various monthly meetings, the aura delights its members, through the public events,The Aura has truly gained social recognition. Public events in The Aura have been the most sought after by the verizons of Trichy. Fastrak-The TSD Car Rally, UTSAV- The shopping festival and The India art Festival-the unique blend of cultural events form an integral part of The Aura Calendar. All these events have evoked phenomenal response and the eagerness is unabated.
The TSD Car Rally
Fastrak has been our signature event, in the past years. The Madras Motor Sports Club organise this event for The Aura in a very professional manner. Started as an all women rally in 2007 , in response to public interest,this event has expanded its scope to include families and corporates too. The TSD car rally Fastrak organised in line with FMSCI rules has over the years become a thundering success and an event to look forward to.
This is a three session event which starts with a participants briefing on the previous day evening, followed by the actual flag off and rally in the next morning. Then comes the final Valedictory flooded with prizes. With VIPs to flag off and celebrities to give away the prizes,the participants experience a fulfilled event.In short Fastrak rocks the town.
The Shopping Festival
Navarathri and Diwali seasons usher in the indomitable spirit of shopping in all of us . Respecting this trait we introduced a unique shopping mela-Utsav, an activity, Trichy has never experienced before.Inaugrated by a celebrity this 2 or 3 day festival generates over 3000 footfall thanks to the variety in stalls from all over the country.
India Art Festivall
The India Art Festival is held every year usually in the month of February. We have had very interesting programmes ranging from the purely classical to the modern. Vishakahari, Guitarist Prasanna, Radhika Shurajith, Ramjhi’s Issai Mazhalai, Playback Singer Srinivas and his team, Madhuvanthi Arun, Y. G. Mahendra, the Evam English Theatre, Agam’s Rock Band, Tribute to M.S. Subbulakshmi by Radhika Shurajith’s Troup were all featured in our Music festival. Our Art Festival is looked forward to, by the public of Trichy, mainly because we introduce talented and popular groups that have never visited our town.
